Accommodations
Outstanding Accommodations:
The accommodations at Stillwood comprise several cottages; Maple motel; three lodges: Balsam, Cedar, and Hickory; Chestnut and Almond dormitories. These buildings equip Stillwood to be an outstanding retreat and conference centre, providing value-added housing for various groups.
Meeting Rooms:
A wide variety of meeting rooms are available to fit your group. You could be looking for something small and intimate. Or maybe comfy and more spacious. Then again you could be looking for an enormous space to let out your wild side. For more information on meeting rooms click here
Stillwood Dining Hall
World Class Dinning:
Our Dining Hall is outfitted with a spacious dining area, an outdoor patio, a fireplace, a fully-equipped, professional kitchen, and a commanding view of Cultus Lake. What a wonderful vantage point from which to enjoy Stillwood’s famously fabulous fare.
Accommodations
Our facility was purpose built as a Childrens summer camp. So the majority of our accommodations are shared. While we have some individual rooms there are very few. Each of our accommodations has a small nightly fee that is onto of the base fee. A complete look at our fees you can be seen near the bottom of this page.
Also note that as we were purpose built as a Childrens summer camp we do not have any linens. Your participants will need to bring bedding, towels, and toiletries.
Balsam is a large building that has the amenities to self contain its own conference retreat. It has 8 rooms, a large meeting area and dining area.
- 8 Rooms:
- Each room has 1 twin bunk bed as well as a twin over double bunk.
- Occupancy
- Maximum 39 persons, using 2 in each double bed.
- Lower Beds Only = 16 singles
- Upper and Lower Bunks = 31 Singles
Hickory and Cedar are medium sized buildings that also contain a meeting room. The downstairs has a separate suite, with the upstairs having 4 rooms & 2 bathrooms.
- 5 Rooms:
- Lower room 1 Twin Bunk & 1 Double Bed
- 4 Upper Rooms 1 Twin Bunk, 1 Double Bed, and 1 Single
- Occupancy
- Maximum 24 persons, using 2 in each double bed.
- Lower Beds Only = 14 singles
- Upper and Lower Bunks = 19 Singles
Almond and Chestnut are our dormitory style buildings. Each floor has 1 shared washroom, a small meeting room and 5 doors.
- 10 Rooms:
- Rooms 1-4 (on both floors): 4 twin bunks, and 2 twin over double bunks
- Room 5 (on both floors): 1 Twin over a double bunk bed.
- Occupancy (using 1 floor of one building)
- Maximum 59 persons, using 2 in each double bed.
- Lower Beds Only = 25 singles
- Upper and Lower Bunks = 50 Singles
Throughout our facility Stillwood has 16 Cottages. Each one has 2 floors, its own bathroom, a kitchenette and dining area. The cottage is open concept with the sleeping areas, kitchen and stars all in the same open space.
- 1 Room:
- Downstairs – 3 twin bunk beds and 1 twin over double bunk
- Upstairs – 4 twin beds
- Occupancy
- Maximum 13 persons, using 2 in the double bed.
- Lower Beds Only = 8 singles
- Upper and Lower Bunks = 12 Singles
Our Motel Rooms are located in our Maple Building. The motel rooms are on the second floor of maple with meeting rooms being on the lower floor of Maple.

- Maximum 4 persons, using 2 in the double bed.
- Lower Beds Only = 2 singles

Activities
Please read the following guidelines to prepare your group for the best activity experience possible.
Activity Blocks:
We have moved to an activity block system to avoid conflicts. While we would love to offer a more customizable schedule, in our experience limiting activities to specific blocks gives guests the best experience possible. During a day we will only offer activities in one of five of the following activity blocks:
- 9:00-10:00 am
- 10:30-11:30 am
- 1:00-2:00 pm
- 2:30-3:30 pm
- 4:00-5:00 pm
Activity Arrival:
To be certain to get all of your guests through an activity it is important that all participants arrive onsite 30 min before their activity. All participants must be at the specific activity site 15 minuted prior to the start of the activity.
Participant Groups
We suggest that you break your participants into groups of 15 or less. Many of our activities can not handle more than 15 people per hour. While some activities can handle more than 15/hour it is important to not mix those activity times with ones that can not handle more than 15/hour.
Activity Availability
Please be aware that dependent on the time of year all the activities may not be available. There is never a guarantee that we can provide that activity based on factors outside of our control like weather or staffing issues.

Stillwood's High Ropes Course
Three levels. Thirty elements. Two side-by-side ziplines. It won’t take much to convince you that, when it comes to activities at Stillwood, our Sky High Adventure Park takes the cake. Maybe “raises the bar” suits it better.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 25 people in one hour
- Instructors: All certified instructors included in the rate.
Yikes!!
If hights do not bother you, or maybe simply excite you this is the activity for you. Connected to our high ropes course are 2 zip lines. They need to be booked as seperate activities so we can ensure instructors with the proper certifications.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 25 people in one hour
- Instructors: All certified instructors included in the rate.
Climb High
A 42-foot indoor climbing tower located in our Gym (the barn) building. It’s our ever-popular workout for the stout of heart.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 10 people per hour, per instructor
- Instructors: 2 instructors included. Additional instructors $45/per hour.
Paddle In Hand
We can rent our boats for use on cultus, but for a complete program we are proud to partner with the Chilliwack Centre of Excelence Paddling Club. For group lessons contact ccekayak@gmail.com

- This is a rental only no direction or supervision is provided. Groups must provide their own instructors & safety personnel. For a full program contact Chiliwack Centre of Excellence Paddling club
- Transportation to the lake is not included. Stillwood will transport boats and paddles.
- Lifejackets available to be picked up onsite before heading down to the lake.
Test Your Accuracy
Take the opportunity to take part in one of the most time-tested activities that camps have ever had. Bend a bow and test your strength and accuracy.

- Instructors: 1 instructor included.
Climb High
A rock wall climbing experience located in our back yard forest.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 10 people per hour per instructor.
- Instructors: Includes 2 instructors. Additional instructors are $45/hour

Team Building
Challenge your team’s dynamics with our low ropes challenge course. It’s surprisingly easy to laugh and be frustrated at the same time. This activity is FREE however the benefit of the activity comes alive when we have one of our trained team building instructors aid you through some of our team building activities on the low ropes course.

- Instructors: $45/hour
Cool Off From The Heat
A huge Jr. Olympic Sized, outdoor swimming pool is available from June to September.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 40 people per Lifeguard
- Instructors: 1 lifeguard included. Additional lifeguards are $45/hour. Groups are permitted to provide their own certified lifeguard(s)

Lasers Everywhere
A do-it anywhere type of activity, our grounds are a fantastic place to have a great game of laser tag.
- Numbers: Can accommodate 15 people per hour
- Instructors: 1 instructor included
Our small games room (located in our barn building) has pingpong, pool, air hockey and Foosball tables to enjoy.
- Numbers: The room can handle about 10 persons playing games at one time.
- Instructors: While a Stillwood supervisor is not required it is important that groups supervise activities in the space.
Indoor Adventures
Our large gymnasium (located in our barn building) can accommodate a group of any size. The space has balls, & equipment for all types of gym activities.
- Numbers: Can accommodate over 500
- Instructors: While a Stillwood supervisor is not required it is important that groups supervise activities in the Gym.
Huck It
Stillwood has a 18 hole disc golf course over 6000ft long though 40 acres of property. Players need to bring their own discs/frisbees to play the course.
- Rates: The disc golf course is free to play. If you are reserving the entire course for a tournament the cost is $7/player
- Numbers: Can accommodate 72 people per round. 1 round takes about 2 hours.
- Instructors: Stillwood instructors are not necessary for this activity, however your group should still be supervised by your own staff/volunteers.

There are separate courts/fields for your use – we supply the balls no charge just let us know you want to use them..

Play All Day
Stillwood has a natural playground with elements to Brin out everyones inner child.

- Instructors: Stillwood instructors are not necessary for this activity, however your group should have supervision while at this activity.
Trail Masters
Using Stillwood as a base, there are days worth of hiking trails through the BC parks system. We have trail maps of common hiking routs. As the trails are subject to weather events the status of the trail could change at any moment making a section impassable.
