The following are the weeks available with the age range applicable for each.
  1. Blast (under 8 years old), July 12-17
  2. Turbo (9-11 years old), July 19-24
  3. XLerate (12 years and older), July 26-31
What’s in the box?

Well, we don’t want to spoil the secret so there is a limit to how much we can tell you. What we can say is that box is made up of a variety of crafts, STEM projects, edible components and challenges.

Each day, an instructional video will be released to help facilitate that day’s activity. We will also be hosting virtual campfires each night for those who have registered for a box.

Registration Deadlines

Registration for each week of Camp-in-a-Box will close the Wednesday, 11 days before the start of the camp.

  • Registration for Blast will close July 1
  • Registration for Turbo it will close July 8
  • Registration for XLerate it will close July 15.

How much will it cost?

Each box will cost $50 plus GST.

How do I get my box?

Once you have registered and paid, boxes will be available for pickup at churches in major city centres. The week before your “camp” you can go to that church to pick up your box during their regular office hours. Regretfully, if you are not able to pick up a box at these locations, there are no other alternative options.

How many people can use a box?

Boxes come with enough supplies for one person. If you have multiple children, you will need to purchase multiple boxes.

Can I apply for financial assistance for this program?

Unfortunately we can not offer camperships or other financial assistance for our summer 2020 programs. Stillwood financial situation has been decimated by the COVID-19 pandemic and will be unable to offer this type of support this summer.

How can I be sure I'm not getting COVID-19-in-a-Box?

Our staff are taking every precaution set out by WorksafeBC, including asking staff with symptoms to stay home or leave the site. As we assemble the boxes we will be adhering to strict self-hygiene practices. The boxes will be dropped off at the pick-up locations six or more days prior the day you will open the box. Five days is the longest length of time that some studies suggest the coronavirus can survive on a surface. Most studies actually suggest 72 hours as the longest survival period.
