We are so excited to be able to offer two weeks of day camps! In 2020 our day camps are all about providing a great social distanced experience. Whether you’re looking to ease your child into camp, or just looking for a great day program.
We understand that this is a different camp than you are typically used to. This year we are able to offer day camps to campers ages 8 to 12.
Each day campers will get a healthy dose of the camp life, and then get to sleep soundly in their own bed that night. Our day camps will focus on giving the campers a great camp experience all while abiding by COVID-19 protocols that will ensure their safety.
In an effort to be helpful and supportive to parents and caregiver we’ve made two significant changes to our 2020 day camps, aside from COVID-19 protocols. First, fees and registrations are calculated by the day. That means when you register you choose how many days you want your camper to attend and then pay the appropriate fee. Second, we’re offering before and after care for those that need a little more flex time in their busy schedules.
Registration is now closed.
Blast Day Camp: August 3-7, Ages 8-10
Turbo Day Camp: August 10-14, Ages 10-12
Our daily schedule will work around being outside the entire day. Every day starts with a welcome time and a warm-up game. That is followed by a great camp activity (climbing wall, high ropes, outdoor adventure). After they have had lunch we will have a cool craft they will be able to take home. Then we will move into a devotional time followed by a snack. We will end the day with a fun team-building activity.
Day camp activities are tailored to the age of the campers, giving them great exposure to what Stillwood has to offer. These activities are fun and exciting in and of themselves, but they also serve a greater purpose. Through taking part in new experiences, campers develop more self-confidence and awareness and develop stronger bonds with new friends.
Keep in mind that many of our normal activities are not available due to COVID-19 restrictions. For example there are no waterfront or pool activities available in 2020.
