Together with the Fraser Valley Autism Society, Stillwood integrates children with high functioning developmental disabilities into our regular camp programming. One of our main goals is to allow children to gain a greater independence and go beyond their boundaries by being involved in as much of our regular summer program as possible.
This program integrates children with a wide variety of developmental disabilities. Some examples are ASD, ADHD and FASD. We recognize that there are varying developmental disabilities all with their own scale of functionality. As a result, we have developed a process which equips us to better determine how your camper can fit into our program. Contact email@example.com to get that process started.
Some things to note
To maintain the functionality and integrity of our program, Stillwood reserves the right to refuse admittance into our Beyond Boundaries program if we feel we cannot adequately support your camper. This may occur even if you have already paid a portion, or all, of your camper’s camp fee online. If this is the case, you will receive a complete refund.
If your camper requires one-on-one care or support, there is the option of sending a care aid. This is the responsibility of the parent or guardian and a care aid fee does apply.
Part of the process will be to fill out our questionnaire. The questionnaire is available below. You can also view our Beyond Boundaries Agreement for more information.
